Shane was very nice, informative and overall awesome person. Took the time to explain every detail of our chimney inspection and steps to take to report the findings to our homeowners association. Responded to my inquiry in a timely manner and sends a very detailed report with pictures and findings. Would highly recommend!

I was in a pinch with closing on my house and I needed to get my fireplace running. I had called a few other companies but the only one that could help was Shane at The Chimney Medics. He couldn't get to my house due to my short turnaround time but he spent a long time talking me through the problem. He wouldn't accept payment for his time either. I really can't get over how helpful he was and how much effort he made for what was essentially a non-paying customer. Great guy, highly recommended.

After dealing with a previous business who claimed he was the best in the business but in fact was awful we called Shane. Shane is a top notch professional. Knowledgeable. Courteous. He educated us on our unit and explained everything we should expect from the 26 year old fireplace and what signs to look for to indicate it is time to replace the unit. Highly recommend this man. You won’t find a better pro out there.

Shane, the technician who serviced our gas fireplace, was AWESOME!!!! His response time to our inquiry as to his availability, was immediate. He explained everything he was doing as he moved along in the process of cleaning and fixing our fireplace. He was knowledgeable in every aspect of the 20+ year old unit. He had it working beautifully in a matter of minutes. He helped us to understand the pros and cons of gas vs. electric units. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Shane and Chimney Medics for any fireplace need. Shane and Chimney Medics are a class act and very reasonably priced as well.

I called to have my chimney sweep. Shane called back to say they were really busy but he gave me a recommendation for someone who could do it quickly. That saved me so much time and headache. Most places wouldn't take the trouble. I really appreciate that Shane did.

Shane and the Chimney Medics are the only fireplace company to use. There is a difference between good and great and Shane is truly GREAT at what he does. Forget fireplaces, Shane is one of (if not the) best professionals I've ever worked with. It is abundantly clear that he knows everything there is to know (and then a little more) about his field. If you are considering another company, STOP RIGHT HERE. If I only used Chimney Medics before I bought my last house, I would have saved thousands of dollars in repairs. The company I used before missed everything and it cost me big time. This time around I am so lucky to have come across Chimney Medics, On a couple days notice, outside of his service area, and on a weekend, Shane made himself available to help me out with a level 2 inspection at my new house. This man knows too much about fireplaces lol. I'm serious. His inspection was so thorough and the education he gave my wife and I was incredible. His inspection report saved us thousands of dollars when buying our new home because he identified some problems with the fireplace. We are going to convert the wood burning fireplace to gas, and Chimney Medics is the only company I will trust. Have you seen Shane's youtube channel? It was great to actually see his work and not some stock photography. I wish I could talk to every single person buying a house. Learn from my verrrrrry costly mistakes. IF YOU ARE BUYING A HOUSE, YOU NEED TO HAVE A LEVEL 2 FIREPLACE INSPECTION BY THE CHIMNEY MEDICS. PERIOD!!!!

Shane did an inspection on a chimney in a home that we are buying. He took the time to look at the previous reports and speak to me via phone before the inspection in order to explain the entire process and what he would be looking for. Once he got to the home, he did a thorough evaluation of the entire chimney and fireplace. He found issues that the previous company completely missed which were serious safety concerns. Shane took the time to sit with us and our realtor to explain what he found, as well as our options to address the problem safely, and at an affordable price. Shane made sure that all of our questions were answered and that we understood what our options were. His prices are very fair and he overdelivers in regards to service. Shane worked with us and helped guide us to negotiate a fair compromise with the sellers of the property. We couldn’t be happier with his work so far and we look forward to having him help us with converting the fireplace to a gas insert that will be safe for us and our children to use.
